Job description
Job Overview
This position as a Recreation Aid involves issuing recreational tools, equipment, and games to authorized patrons, checking IDs, collecting fees, and maintaining records. The role also includes inspecting returned items for damage, managing inventory, scheduling facility use, assisting with games and social events, decorating party rooms, and ensuring cleanliness of work areas. Additionally, this job requires providing facility and program information to visitors, performing minor repairs, and other assigned duties.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Applicants must provide Direct Deposit information and a Social Security Card.
- Eligibility depends on qualification, background checks, and a possible one-year probationary period.
- Completion of employment verification (E-Verify) and Tier 1 background investigation is mandatory.
- No prior experience or formal education requirement is necessary.

- Open only to candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield, GA, including Military Spouse Preference and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference eligible applicants.

- Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized.
