Role Overview

This position serves as the Operations Support Specialist within an assigned division under IMCOM G9. The role supports leadership by overseeing internal control actions, planning, reporting, special initiatives, compliance management, and coordination of division activities. It plays a crucial role in ensuring consistent interpretation and enforcement of regulations and recommending improvements to optimize division functioning.

Key Duties

  • Act as the designated Operations Support Specialist for the assigned division.
  • Provide support to supervisors or chiefs for matters concerning internal controls, planning, reports, briefings, special projects, significant division actions, garrison rosters, and compliance logs.
  • Analyze and review plans, programs, and regulations related to personnel, automation, analysis, and administration.
  • Coordinate division activities by setting and upholding office operating procedures to guarantee uniform implementation of policies and directives.
  • Suggest and implement operational changes that enhance division performance and advise on diverse organizational challenges.

Candidate Requirements

  • Mandatory possession of Direct Deposit and Social Security Card.
  • Fulfillment of qualification, eligibility, and background criteria specific to the role.
  • Potential requirement to complete a one-year probationary period.
  • Capability to secure an Official No-fee Passport is essential.
  • Strong command of management principles and techniques for supporting organizational services and recommending administrative improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside proficiency in standard office software including word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics applications.

  • Specialized experience with drafting and operational management of agreements involving European host nations is highly valued.
