Custodial Worker NA-01

Job Overview

This part-time onsite position involves maintaining cleanliness and order in rooms, corridors, stairways, and other shared areas using various cleaning methods and equipment. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, stripping, and polishing floors with specialized equipment, as well as dusting, waxing, and polishing furniture and fixtures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and toilets, empty trash receptacles.
• Make beds, change linens, and wash mirrors, walls, windows, and blinds.
• Supply rooms with toiletries and condiments, maintain stock of cleaning materials and room supplies.
• Observe and report conditions requiring maintenance or repair.

Employment Conditions

• Must provide Direct Deposit information and valid Social Security Card.
• Meet eligibility and background requirements; completion of an employment verification (E-Verify) check is necessary.
• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Attend Team Member Orientation within 30 days of hire.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability to support community events such as Oktoberfest, Freedom Fest, and others.
• Physical capability to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds; frequent standing and walking on various surfaces, with bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Position is flexible with no guaranteed hours.

Candidate Qualification

Applicants should be capable of following simple verbal instructions and using hand or lightweight powered cleaning tools with minimal prior experience. Essential skills include the ability to understand and follow instructions, basic knowledge of cleaning solvents and equipment, stain removal techniques, and minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Candidates with at least three months of custodial experience, as clearly outlined in their resume, will be highly preferred and may receive priority consideration.

• Limited to candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Fort Rucker, AL; includes U.S. and non-U.S. citizens in this area.
