Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices following a layered and clean architecture suitable for banking domain functionalities such as accounts, payments, and transfers.
• Implement robust, transaction-safe RESTful APIs designed for scalability and align them with microservices architecture principles.
• Create and maintain API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications and ensure API contract validations.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using ReactJS and Redux frameworks, developing reusable frontend components and shared backend utilities.
• Design and implement asynchronous event-driven workflows using Kafka and optimize caching strategies with Redis.
• Perform unit testing using Jest for frontend and JUnit/Mockito for backend components.
• Participate actively in Agile development practices including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Utilize tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub, Maven, and ANT to manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Adhere to secure coding practices in line with OWASP guidelines.
• Conduct code reviews, offer technical mentoring, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including direct communication with customers.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years professional experience in full stack development utilizing Java Microservices and ReactJS.
• Proficient in building and exposing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot aligned to microservices architecture.
• Strong capabilities with JPA, transaction management, and relational database integration.
• Hands-on experience in asynchronous processing with Kafka and caching solutions such as Redis.
• Solid understanding of frontend development using ReactJS and Redux including responsive UI implementations.
• Knowledge and practical skills in unit testing frameworks such as Jest for frontend and JUnit/Mockito for backend.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub, Maven, and ANT.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and secure coding standards based on OWASP.
