Platform Engineer

Role Overview

MindGraph is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust enterprise applications. This role involves working primarily with Java and Spring Boot technologies, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions optimized for performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, code, and sustain enterprise-grade applications leveraging Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Implement and fine-tune solutions utilizing MongoDB and other NoSQL database technologies.
• Engage in all stages of software development including design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams to meet project deadlines and uphold quality standards.
• Maintain and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) systems to streamline software releases.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in production environments, focusing on performance optimization of both applications and databases.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, security protocols, and quality assurance best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• A solid 7 to 8 years of practical experience developing applications in Java.
• Strong command of the Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on expertise in MongoDB and NoSQL database management.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience developing APIs, integrating applications, and implementing microservices architectures.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Core Banking or Financial Services technology projects.
• Familiarity with Agile software delivery processes.
