Position Summary
The Quality Control Specialist role involves performing regular QC checks on various media file types to ensure subtitles meet Deluxe standards and client specifications regarding timing, formatting, and language accuracy. A key aspect is maintaining high-quality output with an average accuracy of 99.7% and ensuring on-time delivery for all projects. The position also requires auditing and mentoring new team members as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify subtitles conform to Deluxe and client language guidelines.
- Ensure subtitles are free from errors by cross-referencing client and project documentation.
- Maintain a consistent quality level averaging 99.7% throughout the year.
- Deliver all completed work on schedule with 100% on-time delivery.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients to resolve concerns and clarify requirements.
- Adhere strictly to department schedules and standard operating procedures.
