Key Responsibilities

• Lead design control processes and projects ensuring adherence to related compliance standards.
• Perform execution of qualification and validation activities supporting engineering initiatives.
• Analyze complex interdisciplinary issues, evaluate impacts, and recommend solutions aligned with organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively, developing practical and traceable schedules.
• Demonstrate proficient technical writing skills to document complex requirements, risks, and root cause analyses in design plans, qualifications, and investigations.
• Use strong verbal communication to collaborate with engineers, quality teams, and global operations to uphold divisional policies.
• Take ownership of executing design control activities and lead or assist with complex corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs).

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Preferably holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Technical or related discipline or has equivalent education and work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or in food manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards, compliance obligations, quality systems, and engineering or quality concepts specific to manufacturing consumable goods.
• Strong quality-focused mindset paired with project management skills to plan and perform thorough investigations and deliver results promptly.
• Exceptional attention to detail ensuring accuracy in quality documentation and effective communication both written and verbal for stakeholder reporting.
• Ability to work autonomously with confidence, managing responsibilities and consistently producing dependable outcomes.

This position is located in Pokeno, Waikato, New Zealand.
