Quality Control Operator

About the Role

Join the Order Fulfillment and Quality Control team at Evertz, where you will be responsible for evaluating electronic equipment linked to customer orders to ensure top quality and compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of electronic devices configured to customer specifications.
• Confirm that products meet the most recent hardware and software specifications.
• Utilize AS/400 systems to scan barcode data accurately.
• Collaborate closely with the production team as an integral member.
• Adhere to OSHA, Safety Data Sheet (SDS) standards, and company health and safety policies.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum education: High school diploma; technical education advantageous but not compulsory.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written, coupled with effective problem-solving, time management, and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable with computer use and familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Positive demeanor and capability to thrive in a fast-moving workplace.
• Focused on achieving results with a proactive, self-driven work ethic.

Additional Details

Location: Burlington, Ontario, Canada - on-site position.
Working hours: Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.
Compensation: Hourly wage of $17.95.
