Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all quality processes related to injection molding within the manufacturing plant.
• Provide support for new product launches and implement engineering changes to guarantee consistent quality.
• Lead structured problem-solving efforts using techniques like 8D reports, 5 Whys, and QRCM to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure effective containment measures are in place, thoroughly analyze root causes, and execute lasting corrective actions.
• Collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners to maintain quality standards.
• Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), including conducting PFMEA, developing Control Plans, submitting PPAP documentation, and validating Run@Rate processes.
• Conduct routine process audits, such as Layered Process Audits and VDA 6.3, to ensure compliance with control plans, customer specifications, and quality norms.
• Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on quality performance indicators, implementing improvement programs to enhance products and processes.
• Lead and mentor quality technicians by fostering their professional growth and cultivating a strong culture of quality within the team.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an HND/HNC qualification in a related technical field.
• Have a minimum of three years’ experience working in quality roles within injection molding manufacturing settings.
• Strong familiarity with automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949, ISO/TS standards, and TISAX customer expectations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging effectively across organizational levels.
• Energetic and proactive with demonstrated success in managing quality improvements and change initiatives.
• Proven skills in coaching, motivating, and leading teams and individuals across departments.
• Well-versed in product and process documentation including Control Plans and Standardized Work Instructions.
• Skilled in structured problem-solving methodologies including 8D, 5 Why, PSA, and Six Sigma principles.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experienced with quality management tools such as FMEA, control plans, MSA, LSA, AAR, and SPC.
