Quality Control Inspector

Job Overview

We are looking to recruit a Quality Control Inspector to manage daily inspection and reporting tasks, verifying that materials and equipment meet design requirements, specifications, and quality benchmarks. The role includes maintaining accurate inspection documentation and traceability. Support for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), calibration oversight, non-conformance reporting, audits, final documentation, and adherence to company Quality Management System (QMS), Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, Saudi Aramco, and related industry protocols is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and compile reports daily.
• Comply rigorously with ARM QMS and HSE policies and procedures.
• Assist workshop foremen in monitoring, identifying, and tracing process components.
• Support the QC manager or supervisor with regular quality control tasks.
• Perform prompt incoming inspections for materials, steel structures, capital equipment, and mechanical parts.
• Evaluate and approve inspection reports supplied by vendors.
• Carry out quality inspections consistent with Inspection and Test Plans (ITP)/Quality Plans (QP), Routers, drawings, and quality instructions within workshop settings.
• Execute visual and dimensional checks based on Router/Job Card, drawings, and specifications.
• Administer NDT methods including Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI), and additional visual techniques; prepare corresponding NDT reports and maintain records.
• Supervise third-party NDT activities and assess their reports.
• Upload pertinent documentation into Document Management System (DMS) such as Rig Docs as applicable.
• Track and ensure equipment and measurement instrument calibrations are current.
• Enter Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective Action Requests (CAR), and Preventive Action Requests (PAR) into the system.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Maintain familiarity with government, Saudi Aramco, and industry quality codes and standards.
• Prepare and review the Final Data Book.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Holder of a bachelor's degree or diploma (four-year program) in Mechanical or Metallurgy Engineering, or a closely related field from a recognized university or technical institute.
• Mandatory valid ASNT Level II certification for Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI).
• Preferred valid ASNT Level II certifications for Radiographic Testing (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
• CSWIP and BGAS certifications would be advantageous.
