Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for a prominent banking sector organization based in Riyadh. This role involves ensuring banking software products are robust, secure, and consistent in quality across various platforms.
Primary Duties
- Create, author, and execute detailed testing plans, cases, and scripts tailored for banking applications.
- Perform a wide range of tests including functional, integration, regression, system-wide, and provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop and sustain automated testing infrastructures.
- Conduct testing on APIs and verify integrations, covering both core banking systems and digital channels such as mobile and web platforms.
- Identify, document, monitor, and ensure resolution of software defects.
- Engage actively in Agile team practices collaborating with developers and business analysts.
Candidate Profile
- At least six years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, specifically with exposure to the banking industry.
- Practical knowledge using automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.
- Proficiency in API testing utilizing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalents.
- Familiarity with test management platforms including Jira, Xray, TestRail, or ALM.
- Strong command of SQL for validating data integrity.
- Possession of ISTQB certification is a beneficial addition.
- Applicants must be Saudi nationals.
