Job Overview & Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and maintain high-performing, scalable Python applications.
- Create and manage automated unit tests utilizing Pytest and MagicMock frameworks.
- Enhance code efficiency through multiprocessing or Dask for parallel and distributed computing.
- Develop and sustain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline building, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions to handle version control and automate workflows.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, providing insightful feedback to maintain coding standards and best practices.
- Keep abreast of latest technological trends to ensure solutions remain innovative and competitive.
Candidate Requirements
- At least five years of proven experience in Python development.
- Demonstrable proficiency with data handling libraries, specifically Pandas and Numpy.
- Strong knowledge in unit testing frameworks such as Pytest and MagicMock.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques involving multiprocessing or Dask.
- Understanding and practical experience with CI/CD principles and implementation.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git and GitHub.
- Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and analytical capabilities.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in teams while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
Preferred Qualities
The ideal candidate possesses a solid foundation in Python development along with experience in building scalable applications, robust testing, and performance tuning.
