DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & Python

Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes and Python to join our team in Bangalore or Pune. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in DevOps and build automation, with strong skills in Linux, Python scripting, and continuous integration/deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Bamboo.
• Develop and automate workflows primarily through Python scripting and shell scripting.
• Manage and optimize build environments to ensure smooth deployment processes.
• Debug and troubleshoot any issues related to builds and automation scripts promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline automation practices.
• Leverage solid knowledge of Git and version control systems to maintain code integrity.
• Implement DevOps best practices to drive automation and efficiency.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in DevOps and build automation roles.
• Proficient hands-on experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and shell scripting, with emphasis on automation tasks.
• In-depth familiarity with Linux command-line tools.
• Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Bamboo.
• Comprehensive understanding of version control using Git.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve build and deployment issues efficiently.
