Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Project Surveyor based in Dubai to oversee quantity surveying tasks related to building projects. The ideal candidate will ensure precise cost estimation, budget management, and comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This critical position involves close coordination with project stakeholders to provide accurate measurements, cost analyses, and reports that uphold project success and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and measurements from architectural and engineering plans specific to building construction.
• Develop precise cost estimations and prepare bills of quantities to support project budgeting.
• Conduct thorough analysis of project expenditures and generate detailed cost reports and forecasts.
• Track budget adherence, identify variances, and recommend cost control strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive project records including specifications, schedules, and cost breakdowns.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure reliable project data and timely deliverables.
• Review tender and contract documents to assess financial implications and potential risks.
• Utilize specialized quantity surveying software tools to enhance analysis and reporting efficiency.
• Ensure all practices comply with UAE construction standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Provide professional advice to stakeholders concerning cost-related matters throughout project phases.
• Assist in preparing documentation for variation and change orders.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Possess 2 to 4 years of experience in quantity surveying specific to the building sector.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and budget analysis.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a closely related field.
