Our Energy & Power division is rapidly growing, focusing on driving the global Energy Transition through renewable energy projects, firm generation, high voltage interconnectors, and offshore grid integration.
As a Project Manager within our Transmission & Distribution team, you will oversee projects in the power sector with a primary focus on transmission and distribution. Your responsibilities will blend technical excellence, commercial management, and client relationship building to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams involving electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical engineering aspects.
- Manage projects end-to-end, from initial planning through execution to final closure.
- Promote a safety-first mindset and ensure high-quality outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide strong commercial oversight including managing budgets, forecasting, and project risks.
- Oversee project scheduling using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Build and nurture lasting trust with clients to foster ongoing work and business growth.
- Contribute strategically to business development and bidding efforts to elevate Jacobs’ market positioning.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience managing projects in transmission, distribution, industrial, or generation sectors.
- Track record of leading multidisciplinary engineering design projects.
- Strong commercial skills with experience handling budgets, contracts, and risk.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities emphasizing safety, quality, and team success.
- Capability to establish and maintain client partnerships in consulting or project delivery contexts.
- Proficiency in project controls and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
