Role Summary
We seek an experienced and strategic Senior Manager in Supply Chain to steer comprehensive supply chain functions covering demand and supply planning, production scheduling, supplier oversight, inventory control, SIOP, and fulfillment execution. This position demands a robust background in automobile, construction machinery, heavy equipment, or engineering manufacturing industries, along with leadership skills to manage cross-departmental teams and external suppliers effectively. The professional will be expected to harness data-driven strategies and utilize advanced digital tools including Advanced Excel, SAP or Infor LN, Power BI, and emergent AI solutions for analytics and planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes from demand evaluation through customer delivery, embedding strong planning systems covering all functional areas such as materials, logistics, and inventory.
- Ensure synchronization between market demand, production capability, supplier capacity, and inventory status to maintain supply continuity and optimal stock levels.
- Forecast demand accurately across short, medium, and long-term horizons by collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams, analyzing historical data and market trends.
- Manage production scheduling ensuring alignment with demand, capacity limitations, tools, labor, and materials, while addressing deviations through corrective measures.
- Drive supplier performance management including OTIF targets, performance monitoring, escalation handling, and proactive risk mitigation related to supplier capacities and critical components.
- Lead and own the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process by facilitating cross-functional monthly cycles, presenting scenarios and action plans to senior management.
- Formulate and execute inventory strategies to optimize working capital, reducing excess and slow-moving stock while maintaining service standards.
- Champion the effective use and advancement of ERP systems like SAP and Infor LN, ensuring data accuracy and digital process automation across the supply chain.
- Develop Power BI dashboards to visualize real-time supply chain KPIs, including supplier delivery, forecast accuracy, inventory performance, production adherence, and capacity utilization.
- Promote AI adoption for advanced forecasting, risk prediction, inventory management, supplier analysis, and scenario planning to transform supply chain decision-making.
- Lead and mentor the supply chain planning team, define performance metrics, align cross-functional teams, and manage escalations to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Eligibility Criteria
