Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage one or multiple complex engineering projects, potentially spanning national regions or involving a range of technical disciplines.
• Oversee projects including high-rise and vertical construction, environmental compliance, litigation-related tasks, and due diligence activities.
• Manage all project phases, with strong focus on engineering and project management controls such as scheduling, cost tracking, and performance metrics.
• Direct engineering coordination, documentation, and regulatory approvals, ensuring compliance with high-rise building codes and pertinent standards.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to other project managers to uphold best practices and project delivery excellence.
• Develop and implement strategies for project controls including risk assessment and earned value management tailored to complex construction environments.
• Maintain thorough project and engineering records according to industry and client standards.

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 10 years of progressive experience managing engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary projects with wide geographic scope and complexity.
• Strong understanding of project management controls, risk analysis, and technical performance measurement.
• Proven expertise in regulatory and environmental compliance standards.
• Experience mentoring project management professionals.
• Proficiency in project scheduling, cost management, and documentation control.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Engineering, Project or Construction Management.

Preferred:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Over 15 years managing complex engineering projects.
• Experience with litigation, due diligence, and working with regulatory authorities.
• Familiarity with earned value management systems and advanced project control software.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related project management disciplines.
• Experience overseeing projects with budgets exceeding $10 million or multi-year timelines.
