Project Manager - Data Centre

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Project Managers with a comprehensive background in MEP and data centre projects to join a reputable international contractor specializing in hyperscale developments throughout the GCC region. This role involves complete ownership and delivery of MEP scope on large-scale data centre projects, overseeing engineering, procurement, supply chain, construction, commissioning, and handover stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of major MEP packages in data centre construction.
• Coordinate activities among engineering teams, procurement, supply chain, construction, and commissioning functions to ensure timely project delivery.
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams and maintain direct engagement with clients and consultants.
• Ensure effective collaboration with MEP subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to facilitate seamless project execution.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently engaged in a live data centre project.
• Solid experience in MEP contracting, specifically within data centre or mission-critical environments.
• Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
• Proficient in managing significant MEP packages from design through to commissioning.
• Familiarity with MEP subcontractors, vendors, and supply chains is essential.
• Comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with clients and consultants.
• Experience from main contractors or MEP contractors is preferred.
• Previous GCC work experience is not mandatory; professionals working currently in Europe, UK, APAC, USA, or other international data centre markets are encouraged to apply.
