Role Overview

We seek expressions of interest from seasoned professionals for the position of Project Director – Construction Supervision. This role will involve leadership over prominent infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Steer and manage large infrastructure projects from start to finish.
• Provide strategic leadership to diverse project teams, covering engineering, construction oversight, commercial affairs, and project controls.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, government bodies, contractors, and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships.
• Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and adhere to quality, safety, and contract standards.
• Track project progress, identify risks and opportunities, and apply mitigation measures.
• Manage contract administration, commercial management, and resolve claims effectively.
• Guarantee compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and governance policies.
• Promote project excellence, encourage innovation, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in business development, including client interaction, proposal development, and advancing strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 20 years of experience leading major infrastructure projects, with substantial roles in construction supervision and project leadership.
• Proven success in managing large, complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep understanding of project management, construction oversight, contract and commercial management, and project controls.
• Strong experience in managing client relations and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
• Experience in international consultancy settings is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with projects in the GCC and Saudi Arabia is strongly preferred.
• Certifications such as PMP or professional chartership are beneficial.
