Role Overview

Surbana Jurong is supporting a client developing large-scale residential and mixed-use projects in Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a skilled Landscape Architect to be stationed at the client's office in Riyadh. This position involves overseeing landscape design reviews, project coordination, and site supervision tasks, requiring strong technical expertise, effective stakeholder management, and confident communication in client-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and evaluate landscape designs from conceptual stages through detailed design and construction phases.
• Assess consultant submissions to ensure alignment with client standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, urban designers, and other discipline specialists.
• Assist with project management and support design coordination efforts.
• Offer technical support during site supervision, including shop drawings, material selections, and addressing site queries.
• Engage actively in client meetings and technical workshops.
• Contribute to commercial and scope assessments related to landscape design.
• Foster a cooperative and professional team atmosphere.

Experience and Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field.
• 8 to 10 years of professional practice in landscape architecture.
• Extensive experience in landscape design and technical review processes.
• Familiarity with residential communities, villas, apartments, commercial projects, retail spaces, schools, parks, and public realm developments.
• Proven involvement in large-scale or master-planned developments.
• Experience working in the Middle East, preferably Saudi Arabia, is advantageous.
