Role Overview
The Project Controls and Reporting Manager leads the oversight of project reporting, governance, and performance tracking, serving as the primary liaison for customer-facing project report deliveries. This role ensures that client leadership and project stakeholders receive timely, accurate, and insightful project information throughout the construction phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the client on-site to provide project updates.
- Manage the preparation of weekly, monthly, and executive-level reports derived from general contractor and other specialized reports such as Steel Structure and Site Supervision.
- Create and maintain dashboards and KPI scorecards for project monitoring.
- Prepare governance documentation for management and steering committee meetings.
- Maintain the accuracy and consistency of project reports.
- Coordinate customer reporting requirements and consolidate data from all stakeholders.
- Facilitate executive reviews and customer meetings, responding promptly to ad hoc reporting and data requests.
- Monitor project progress, schedule adherence, risks, and provide early warning signals of issues.
- Support initiatives aimed at project recovery and performance improvements through detailed analysis and recommendations.
- Aggregate data from planning, engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams; manage reporting tools and dashboards.
- Drive automation and continuous enhancements of reporting processes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- More than 10 years of expertise in project controls, project management office (PMO), or project reporting functions.
- Substantial experience with large-scale construction, infrastructure, or data center projects.
- Prior exposure to project management consultancy (PMC) and client-centric reporting roles.
- Advanced skills in executive communications and stakeholder relationship management.
- Strong working knowledge of tools such as Power BI, Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
