About the Role
Join Parsons Corporation as a Project Controls Data Analyst in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where your expertise will be instrumental in integrating multiple facets of project engineering—scope, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, construction, and start-up—for smaller projects or subdivisions of larger initiatives. You may be required to relocate on-site during phases of construction and start-up to ensure technical excellence across engineering tasks and assist in procurement and construction planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and sustain dynamic dashboards and reporting tools utilizing Power BI.
- Automate routine project control reports and key performance metrics.
- Generate high-level executive reports detailing project progress and status.
- Establish and standardize KPIs to support program and portfolio reporting activities.
- Evaluate project progress patterns and offer analytic insights.
- Assist with earned value management (EVM) reporting and related analyses.
- Deliver accurate forecasting to support project decision-making.
- Convert complex datasets into valuable, actionable insights for leadership review.
- Detect trends, potential risks, opportunities, and areas for performance enhancement.
- Develop automated extraction, transformation, and reporting workflows to optimize data handling.
- Apply programming skills—specifically in Python and SQL—to streamline data processes.
- Implement digital tools and innovative analytics to boost reporting efficiency.
- Contribute actively to digital transformation initiatives within project control functions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or closely related discipline.
- Between three to seven years of professional experience in project controls, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Preferred background includes involvement in large-scale construction, infrastructure, engineering, or capital projects.
- Proven skills in developing Power BI dashboards and managing project performance reports.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Power BI dashboard creation and management
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Competency in SQL for database querying and management
- Programming experience with Python to aid in data automation and analysis
