Role Overview
This key role in the Property & Store Growth team involves overseeing programmes that bring new stores, relocations, and refurbishments to life across New Zealand. You will ensure comprehensive governance, detailed reporting, and effective tracking across a portfolio of diverse property development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead programme governance, compliance, and delivery assurance within the property portfolio.
- Maintain integrated schedules that track milestones, dependencies, and potential risks.
- Create dashboards, reports, and insights that facilitate informed decision-making.
- Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) registers proactively.
- Support financial governance including budget management, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of project information and reporting data.
- Provide clear portfolio visibility to aid prioritization, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
- Coordinate procurement and preparation for fixtures to keep projects progressing smoothly.
- Drive ongoing improvements and evolution in programme management practices.
Candidate Profile
- Strong organisation, analytical skills, and curiosity with a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience in programme coordination, PMO functions, governance, compliance, project control, or portfolio reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of project governance and delivery assurance methodologies.
- Proven skills in managing programme schedules, project reporting, and RAID systems.
- Advanced expertise in data analysis, report/dashboard creation, and complex Excel functions.
- Experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and budget monitoring.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing without direct authority.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to data integrity and reporting precision.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience preferred.
Desirable Experience & Certifications
Experience in property, construction, retail development, capital projects, or operational delivery sectors will be highly regarded. Qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, or PMO certifications are advantageous.
