Project Manager - Cybersecurity

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager specialized in cybersecurity to support and oversee projects ensuring successful execution within the stipulated timelines. This role involves coordinating various stakeholders including vendors, contractors, and users, managing risks and schedules, and upholding quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate project planning, implementation, and progress tracking to guarantee on-time delivery of cybersecurity initiatives.
• Organize and lead meetings with vendors, stakeholders, and contractors, compiling comprehensive meeting notes and project documentation.
• Administer project timetables, perform maintenance oversight, and handle risks, issues, and change orders efficiently.
• Evaluate security settings including user access, firewall configurations, and system setups to comply with standards.
• Engage in system testing processes ensuring that deliverables align with both technical specifications and business goals.
• Assess quality and contractual conformity of maintenance logs and contractor submissions.
• Maintain ongoing communication with all stakeholders and contractors, providing frequent project updates.
• Manage and keep all project documentation up to date, alongside supporting administrative duties associated with project management.
• Oversee contractor activities on-site as necessary to ensure compliance and quality standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or an allied discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in project management or coordination, ideally focusing on cybersecurity projects.
• Proven involvement in a minimum of one complete cybersecurity project lifecycle or two full IT project lifecycles.
• Certification such as CompTIA Security+ or its equivalent.
• Excellent skills in communication, coordination, and managing stakeholders effectively.
• Capability to handle multiple projects concurrently while maintaining quality standards.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• Familiarity with cybersecurity technology including firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
• Knowledge of IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards.
• Additional professional certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, GSEC, or CISSP are advantageous.
• Having personal transportation means such as a car or motorcycle is preferred.
