Production Supervisor

Role Overview

The Production Supervisor is tasked with efficient manpower allocation and overseeing production activities to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Distribute workforce based on workload demands and priority of production activities.
• Supervise employee productivity, maintain attendance discipline, and evaluate work output.
• Make sure assembly operations align with the production plan and delivery deadlines.
• Track progress daily, weekly, and monthly to meet production targets.
• Optimize the use of manpower, machinery, tools, fixtures, and other resources effectively.
• Compile and present daily production and assembly reports for review.
• Inspect assembly stages for correct alignment, levelness, squareness, orientation, dimensions, and proper fit.
• Verify correct component usage for each specific assembly or job.
• Detect and report any defects such as misalignment, poor fitment, or dimensional inaccuracies.
• Collaborate closely with departments including fabrication, cutting, welding, fitting, stores, production planning and control, quality assurance, and dispatch.
• Ensure strict compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols and all shop-floor safety regulations.
