Maintenance Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Executive to oversee and implement scheduled preventive maintenance activities, handle troubleshooting of robotic welding and laser cutting machinery, and ensure the overall operational integrity of equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly preventive maintenance plans.
• Perform regular inspections of machines, electrical panels, motors, gearboxes, bearings, sensors, cables, and pneumatics and hydraulics systems.
• Ensure machines are lubricated, cleaned, adjusted, tightened, aligned, and worn parts replaced promptly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to robotic welding equipment and associated electrical/mechanical components.
• Monitor operation of welding robots including sensors, cables, motors, fixtures, pneumatic systems, and safety interlocks.
• Liaise with OEM service engineers and suppliers for addressing major robotic faults or technical challenges.
• Conduct routine maintenance for laser cutting machinery including cutting heads, nozzle systems, cooling/chiller units, air/gas supplies, electrical panels, sensors, and mechanical parts.
• Diagnose electrical faults in machines, control panels, motors, sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, PLCs, and wiring systems.
• Inspect incoming power supplies, voltage stability, earthing, and maintain electrical safety standards.
• Respond rapidly to breakdown calls to minimize production interruptions, documenting all relevant details such as fault time, root cause, corrective actions, and resolution.
• Manage inventory of essential machine spare parts maintaining minimum required stock.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before maintenance work.
• Report any unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and implement 5S principles within the maintenance area.
• Collaborate effectively with Production, Fabrication, PPC, Quality, Stores, and Management teams.
• Keep detailed, machine-specific preventive maintenance records and schedules.
