Overview
Join the Tuatara Brewery at Brewtown in Upper Hutt, Wellington, as a dedicated Production Assistant. Become an essential member of a passionate team focused on crafting outstanding beer and delivering excellent experiences. This full-time, permanent position involves supporting the packaging and production teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations while upholding the brewery’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform production duties in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to scheduled timelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization following standard operating procedures.
- Participate in identifying and resolving production challenges.
- Support equipment maintenance by recognizing needs and helping with preventative actions.
- Contribute innovative suggestions to enhance brewery processes.
- Promote and embody strong health and safety principles within the workplace.
Candidate Profile
- Exhibit reliability, diligence, and a strong focus on safety throughout all tasks.
- Detail-oriented and cooperative, valuing teamwork.
- A forklift licence is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience in food production, FMCG, or manufacturing industries is beneficial but not required.
- Effective communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn and adapt.
- Maintain a positive attitude and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
