Role Overview

The Product Development and Design Expert will spearhead the creation and enhancement of products, overseeing every stage from initial concept to market launch while ensuring ongoing product advancement and alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire product development process from ideation through to launch.
• Perform market analysis, competitor research, and trend prediction.
• Identify customer requirements and convert them into actionable product opportunities.
• Set clear product specifications, requirements, and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, operations, and business units to guarantee product success.
• Innovate solutions supportive of business aims and user expectations.
• Design user-centric products with effective wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Enhance product usability and overall user experience.
• Conduct user testing phases and iterate based on feedback.
• Maintain consistency in design standards and brand alignment.
• Implement design thinking approaches and adhere to UX/UI best practices.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and key milestones.
• Coordinate with both internal and external partners during product execution stages.
• Track budget, resources, and quality compliance.
• Ensure adherence to technical, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Keep abreast of new technologies, materials, and market trends to fuel innovation.
• Recommend improvements to existing products and procedures.
• Lead initiatives that promote long-term product strategies and innovation.
• Participate in performance appraisals, KPI analysis, and team development planning.
• Undertake other relevant duties supporting departmental and organizational objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, UX/UI Design, Business, or related disciplines. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in product development, design, or innovation roles.
