Role Summary

The Pattern Maker (Modelist) / Styler will be tasked with producing precise patterns derived from design blueprints to facilitate product innovation and manufacturing within textile production. This role is pivotal in converting design details, measurements, and technical information into production-ready patterns that retain quality, fit, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

• Create patterns based on design sketches, technical drawings, and specs.
• Translate design concepts and size charts into accurate production patterns.
• Collaborate closely with Designers to ensure patterns meet design and product criteria.
• Prepare pattern grading and size guidelines for manufacturing.
• Modify and enhance patterns after sample fittings, prototype assessments, and production feedback.
• Work alongside production and sample development teams to verify pattern accuracy during implementation.
• Guarantee technical soundness of patterns for manufacturability and compliance with production limits.
• Maintain thorough records of pattern files, technical documentation, and measurement standards.
• Assist in sample and prototype development to validate fit, function, and design fidelity.
• Adhere to company quality benchmarks and production specifications.
• Engage in appraisals, KPI evaluations, and developmental planning within the department.
• Perform additional tasks to support organizational goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Pattern Making, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in pattern making for textiles, garments, or uniforms involving both woven and knit fabrics.
• Prior industrial pattern development and garment construction experience is advantageous.
• Exposure to textile, technical textile, or industrial manufacturing settings is preferred.

Skills and Technical Proficiency
