Position Overview

We seek a Product Designer to spearhead the design of AI-driven digital inspection software enhancements aimed at improving engine inspection, reporting, and customer interactions across our worldwide aftermarket services. This role involves overseeing the full product design lifecycle to create intuitive digital experiences rooted in user data and emerging technology. The position reports to the Product Manager and collaborates closely with Engineering, Data Science, and business teams to deliver scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze user behavior and product metrics using tools like PostHog and Google Analytics to identify usability and experience improvement opportunities.
• Translate insights into wireframes, mock-ups, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes employing Figma and AI-assisted design tools.
• Maintain and evolve the enterprise design system to ensure consistency and scalability of design across products.
• Work directly with software engineers to facilitate smooth design handoff and implementation.
• Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and customer engagements to validate product choices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver user-centered solutions.
• Iterate designs continuously by applying Agile methodologies and data-driven decision-making processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in SaaS product design, UX/UI design, or a related discipline.
• Expert proficiency with Figma, design systems, and component libraries.
• Experience leveraging analytics platforms to guide design strategies.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Familiarity with Agile product development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background designing enterprise or aviation software products.
• Experience with AI-driven design tools and modern prototyping methodologies.
• Understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, and user-centered design principles.
• Experience collaborating with internationally distributed teams.
