Key Responsibilities

• Regularly rotate stock and remove expired produce to guarantee product freshness and quality.
• Verify accurate pricing and signage for all produce, following correct ordering, clearance, labeling, and markdown procedures.
• Adhere to food safety protocols including sanitation, cold chain management, temperature monitoring, proper handling, and observing sell-by and expiration dates.
• Stock and downstock items as necessary, apply protective measures when needed, and organize displays such as modulars and shelf caps to ensure a full produce section.
• Comply with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Be flexible with work hours, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays to support smooth store operations and consistent service quality.

Challenges in This Role

• Managing an overnight shift schedule efficiently to sustain energy and focus.
• Handling a fast-paced, high-volume workload with accuracy and timeliness.
• Performing physical tasks including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting stock or equipment weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Repeatedly performing stocking, zoning, and organizing duties with attention to detail and consistency to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The minimum hourly wage for this position starts at $18.05.
