Role Overview
Join Infineon's Research & Development team as a Principal Engineer specializing in Digital Design, where your creativity and technical expertise will help shape future technologies, drive innovative projects, and realize new ideas that impact global connectivity, energy, and intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of processes and methodologies in Digital IP Design.
- Significantly contribute to the company's IP strategy within Digital Design.
- Collaborate within teams managing infrastructure, methodology, and automation related to IP Concept, Design, and Verification.
- Promote innovation across internal and external boundaries within the IP design community.
- Monitor and proactively respond to industry and internal trends affecting IP design.
- Mentor and challenge new ideas, strategically balancing risks and opportunities, and guiding critical decisions.
- Drive the transformation of traditional design practices by integrating AI-based solutions into Digital Design workflows.
Candidate Profile
- University degree in STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
- Minimum of 9 years expertise in Digital IP design.
- Expertise in Digital Design methodologies and workflows.
- Proven experience in developing intricate digital designs optimized for high speed or low power consumption and thorough understanding of System on Chip (SoC) implementation flows.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capability for complex issues by leveraging expert networks and driving continuous improvements.
- Experience with AI technologies or a strong inclination to apply AI-driven solutions to enhance traditional Digital Design methods.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
