About the Role
Join Infineon Technologies as a Senior Compact Modeling Engineer within our Research & Development team in Munich. This key position offers the opportunity to blend creativity with technical prowess to influence the future of technology through innovative projects and ideas.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform device characteristic measurements at the wafer level for power semiconductor components.
- Extract spice-level simulation models from parameter measurement data.
- Derive statistical models using process control monitoring information.
- Fit model parameters accurately to measurement datasets.
- Ensure quality through thorough documentation and validation.
- Provide support to circuit designers utilizing these models for simulation purposes.
- Innovate and develop advanced techniques for measurement and parameter extraction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three years’ experience within the semiconductor industry, especially in compact modeling involving device measurement and SPICE model development.
- Familiarity with analog circuit design is advantageous.
- Experience with DC and CV measurement systems; knowledge of ICCAP software, VerilogA, and Python is a plus.
- Understanding of technology processes, process design kit (PDK) development or usage, and design flow comprehension is beneficial.
- Proficiency in AI tools, including IDE copilots and agents, with experience designing, implementing, and managing AI workflows.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are an added benefit.
