Job description
Position Overview
This is a full-time, permanent principal position starting from Term 1, 2027, based in Western Region, Ghana. The role focuses on strong moral leadership aimed at enabling every student’s learning success and full potential development. The principal will create a supportive environment that recognizes and nurtures each student's talents, equipping them with essential knowledge, skills, and values for lifelong achievement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead with a commitment to student success and well-being, understanding education’s transformative power over disadvantage.
- Build strong partnerships within the school community and external stakeholders to drive the school's mission with collective effort.
- Promote an inclusive, cohesive school culture focused on diverse learning needs and student thriving.
- Strategically allocate and manage resources including staff, funding, facilities, policies, and partnerships to maximize educational outcomes.
- Champion continuous improvement emphasizing quality teaching and professional development of staff.
- Use evidence-based decision-making and quality data for goal setting, monitoring progress, and evaluating impact.
- Lead significant changes across programs, curriculum, policies, facilities, and school culture to enhance learning and wellbeing.
