Job description

Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Primary Care Representative to join our Commercial Operations team based in Brisbane. This role involves managing the East Brisbane territory by promoting CSL Seqirus pharmaceutical products, fostering strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, and delivering significant sales achievements within the designated region.

Key Duties

  • Attain sales objectives and increase market share across your assigned territory.
  • Create and implement a strategic business plan tailored to your territory.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with general practitioners, pharmacists, nurses, practice managers, and allied health professionals.
  • Deploy a multi-channel engagement strategy including in-person meetings, digital platforms, webinars, and emails.
  • Gather and communicate customer and market intelligence to internal teams.
  • Present compelling, patient-focused narratives grounded in scientific knowledge.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Customer Experience, and other departments to provide holistic customer solutions.
  • Organize and lead promotional and educational activities, some of which occur outside regular working hours.
  • Ensure accurate recording of customer interactions and call data within CRM systems.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, conferences, and product launches as necessary.
  • Comply with regular travel requirements within the territory and occasional interstate trips for key events.

Candidate Profile

  • Self-driven, proactive, and goal-oriented with a talent for building trust and rapport with clients.
  • Adaptable to new digital tools and strategic in approach, thriving in fast-paced environments with a growth mindset.
  • Customer centric, resilient, and results-driven with strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in stakeholder engagement and influence across multiple channels.
  • Possesses business insight and analytical capabilities.
  • Medical or scientific literacy, capable of interpreting clinical data that resonates with customers.
  • Experience in digital engagements and multi-channel strategies.
  • Holds a valid Australian driver's license.
  • Possesses tertiary education in pharmacology, nursing, or related scientific disciplines, or proven experience in pharmaceutical or other sales sectors.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years pharmaceutical sales experience.

Travel Requirements

  • Consistent driving within the territory daily.
  • Periodic weekly travel to Cairns every five weeks via air.
  • Will require attendance at after-hours meetings and weekend educational sessions.
  • Interstate travel to conferences, training, and national gatherings on an occasional basis.
  • Capable of transporting promotional materials and equipment.
