Job description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Technical Lead in Perth, WA, offering full-time employment with flexible working options. This role involves leading and establishing a Microsoft Power Platform capability within the organisation to transform how technology solutions are designed, governed, and implemented across various business units.
Role Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable Power Platform solutions organization-wide.
- Develop engineering standards, governance policies, and best practice frameworks.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to developers concerning solution design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical choices.
- Manage Power Platform environments, including security and governance processes.
- Drive continuous integration and deployment, testing, and lifecycle management practices.
- Create secure integrations with enterprise systems, APIs, and data platforms.
- Collaborate closely with cybersecurity, data, innovation, and project teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Support recruitment and skills development within the Power Platform team.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 7 years of experience in software or application development or solution engineering.
- Hands-on expertise delivering solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding technical teams and mentoring software developers.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles, including source control, testing, deployment, and code maintainability.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications, APIs, and external systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Microsoft certifications relevant to Power Platform development, functional consulting, or solution architecture.
Preferred Experience
- Development of AI-powered Power Platform solutions.
- Knowledge of programming languages and frameworks including C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience with Azure Functions, custom connector creation, and API development.
- Proficient with Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Power Platform testing frameworks and automated testing strategies.
