Overview
This is a permanent opening for a seasoned technology strategy consultant role based in Perth, Western Australia. The position requires a strategic leader with extensive experience influencing technology direction within complex operational settings, ideally in sectors such as mining, rail, operational technology, data, or industrial technology.
Role Expectations
- Bring over 10 years of experience in technology, engineering, architecture, or consulting.
- Hold a leadership position background such as Solution Architect, Lead Architect, Principal Consultant, or Technology Lead.
- Demonstrate the ability to link technology solutions directly to business outcomes efficiently.
- Excel in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and executives.
- Proven track record in developing technology strategies, roadmaps, and leading transformation projects.
- Possess solid knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems integration, and solution design principles.
- Analyze and resolve fundamental business problems with practical, effective solutions.
- Excel in communication, facilitation, and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring junior professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industries like mining, rail, energy, utilities, or heavy manufacturing.
- Possession of TOGAF certification or similar architecture frameworks.
- Cloud architecture certifications are advantageous.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge pertaining to data platforms, industrial control systems, automation, or operational technology ecosystems.

- Experience defining future operating models and technology roadmaps.
