Power BI Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for a knowledgeable Power BI / Power Platform Developer to become a part of the Gentherm team. This role demands a proficient individual with solid skills in Power BI alongside practical experience with Power Apps and Power Automate. Familiarity with Databricks, SQL, and Azure platforms is advantageous. The position includes devising, implementing, and refining data-centric systems to facilitate business decision processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, update, and manage interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI.
• Develop and improve business applications leveraging Power Apps technology.
• Construct and oversee automation workflows using Power Automate.
• Engage with business units to collect and transform requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Conduct data modeling, execute DAX formulae, and enhance report efficiency.
• Apply SQL skills to extract, transform, and verify data sourced from varied systems.
• Support analytics and data engineering tasks with experience in Databricks.
• Maintain data integrity, implement security protocols, and adhere to governance practices.
• Take part in code evaluations, test processes, and solution deployments.
• Document developed systems and provide ongoing technical support.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated extensive experience with Power BI including report creation, dashboard building, DAX, and data modeling.
• Proficient in using Power Platform suite features including Power Apps (Canvas or Model-driven) and Power Automate (cloud flows and integrations).
• Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and analytics tasks.
• Basic practical knowledge of Databricks environment.
• Understanding of data warehousing principles and business intelligence methodologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure platforms is considered a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders.
