About the Role

Dunbia UK, a prominent European food processor and member of the Dawn Group, is inviting applications for the position of Porter. This role offers a chance to become part of an established team focused on producing high quality natural food products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in reaching departmental goals related to production yield and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to good housekeeping practices.
• Observe and comply with Quality, Health & Safety, and other company standards and policies.
• Handle and transport carcasses throughout the factory premises.
• Carry out duties in a cold storage environment.
• Use knives and other relevant tools to perform meat cutting and trimming tasks appropriately.
• Follow the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the department.
• Correctly use and store Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including chainmail clothing and knives.
• Manage carcass intake and weigh-in processes, ensuring the products meet the required customer specifications.
