Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Butchers, Deboners, and Trimmers to join our team located in Treburley, near Launceston in Cornwall. The main responsibility involves de-boning and trimming beef carcasses according to customer specifications while maximizing meat yield.
Working Hours and Compensation
This role requires working Monday to Friday from 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM. The starting pay rate is 12.71 per hour. Exceptional attendance and performance can make you eligible for a throughput bonus, which may increase the hourly wage up to 15.50.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform boning and trimming of beef products aligning with specific customer requirements.
- Collaborate effectively within a team operating in a high-speed production environment to maintain smooth workflow.
- Ensure adherence to established yield targets and quality standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in meat boning or trimming roles.
- Background in the food industry is preferred.
- Excellent knife handling and cutting skills.
- Strong communication abilities and capacity to work well within a team.
- Capability to take initiative independently while contributing to team objectives focused on superior customer service.
