Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough pre-project checks on parts to ensure readiness.
• Manage inventories ranging from 500 to 1000 items for each project.
• Plan and schedule material availability to keep production on track and fulfill customer delivery commitments promptly.
• Collaborate closely with Buyers, Operations, Program, and Warehouse teams to guarantee timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain system data accuracy by correctly inputting both purchased and fabricated parts information.
• Anticipate potential production bottlenecks and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with existing vendors to manage new material revisions or temporary change orders effectively.
• Update forecasts and translate them into actionable material plans, adjusting supply schedules with vendors as needed.
• Execute material planning and purchasing activities to ensure production requirements are met efficiently.
• Review daily operational reports with the purchasing department to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Work with quality engineers to address any instances of non-conforming materials.
• Ensure suppliers deliver materials on schedule to support uninterrupted production.
• Participate in production meetings and other relevant gatherings for communication and status updates.
• Generate management reports and carry out additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Materials Science, or Industrial Engineering.
• Alternatively, diploma qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Systems Engineering are acceptable.
