Role Overview
The Personal Assistant position is a full-time, on-site role based in Harare. The selected candidate will assist senior staff by handling daily administrative and organizational duties. Key responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling appointments, organizing meetings, processing correspondence, maintaining records, preparing simple reports, arranging travel and logistical needs, and ensuring smooth office operations. Acting as a vital communication link between internal teams and external parties, the Personal Assistant will also offer general clerical support as necessary. Ideal candidates are proactive, detail-focused, and skilled at managing multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Proven expertise in Personal Assistance and Executive Administrative Support, especially experience aiding senior leadership or management.
- Strong communication abilities, encompassing clear written and oral skills and professional interpersonal interactions.
- Competence in diary management, including scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting planning.
- Solid clerical capabilities, such as document drafting, filing, data entry, and basic office administration.
- Familiarity with office software tools like email systems, calendar applications, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Prior experience in corporate or professional services sectors is an asset.
- Holding a diploma or degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related discipline is advantageous.
