Performance Tester - Load Runner

Job Overview

We are seeking a Performance Tester specializing in Load Runner for a contract role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The engagement is expected to last more than a year and involves designing, developing, and maintaining codeless, model-driven test automation solutions to enhance application quality.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and manage reusable test modules to support performance testing.
• Execute functional and regression tests on web and mobile applications.
• Integrate testing procedures within Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Lead risk-based testing strategies aimed at improving release frequency and efficiency.
• Build and maintain robust, end-to-end test architectures using Load Runner and Load Runner Cloud.
• Conduct performance testing on web and API applications utilizing Load Runner and JMeter tools, including pinpointing application or microservice response times, identifying bottlenecks, and determining threshold points.
• Establish and implement enterprise-wide performance testing strategies, policies, and governance practices aligned with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Perform capacity planning, scalability assessments, and performance forecasting as needed.
• Create, script, and execute performance test frameworks while leveraging various performance analysis tools.
• Execute a variety of non-functional testing types such as load, volume, stress, and back-out testing.
• Effectively communicate intricate technical details to management-level stakeholders.
• Debug and identify performance bottlenecks and independently manage comprehensive performance testing initiatives.
• Collaborate efficiently with stakeholders and manage relationships to ensure testing success.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient with performance testing tools including Load Runner, JMeter, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
• Experience testing various technologies including web, API, and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies to align testing with development processes.
• Hands-on expertise in performance test architecture and framework creation.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

This position requires working onsite in Riyadh under a contract employment arrangement. The contract duration is expected to exceed one year, with no further stipend or salary details specified.
