Job description
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Data Migration Consultant to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess 6 to 10 years of experience and will be responsible for driving end-to-end data migration processes within Oracle Cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the activities involving data extraction, mapping, transformation, and validation to ensure data integrity and readiness for migration.
- Create and execute migration loads utilizing tools such as FBDI, ADFDi, HDL (specifically for HCM data), and REST APIs.
- Design comprehensive data templates, mapping documents, and cleansing instructions aimed at business users to facilitate smooth data handling.
- Collaborate closely with functional, technical, and business teams to gather data needs, seek approvals, and maintain alignment throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Conduct test loads, perform reconciliation checks, and provide support during cutover and post-go-live phases to guarantee successful transition.
- Diagnose and resolve data load issues ensuring flawless, auditable migration outcomes.
Required Skills
- Proficient hands-on experience working with Oracle data migration tools: FBDI, ADFDi, HDL, REST APIs, and familiarity with Fusion data models.
- Strong SQL capabilities accompanied by an understanding of Oracle Cloud's module data structures.
- Experience handling data validation, reconciliation, and managing migration cycles involving large data volumes.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively across business and functional teams.
