Overview
Join us as a Payroll Specialist responsible for managing the mid-month payroll for approximately 630 employees, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payment processes. This role partners closely with the Payroll Manager, People Team, Finance department, and external payroll providers to deliver an efficient payroll experience for colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all payroll queries, payroll calculations, pension administration, and respond to legislative updates.
- Process out-of-cycle payments as required.
- Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes and controls.
- Lead payroll-related projects and initiatives to enhance operations.
- Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees regarding payroll matters and TUPE regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven comprehensive experience in end-to-end payroll management.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation including TUPE.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software such as Excel or Google Sheets.
- Prior exposure to systems like Cascade, Timegate or Brain is advantageous but not mandatory.
