Job description
Position Overview
This role involves conducting Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) across various commercial and retail locations such as offices and schools. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30. Minor repairs to appliances may also be required during the course of duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive portable appliance testing utilizing downloadable testing instruments on diverse property types.
- Carry out minor electrical repairs as needed on site to ensure safety and compliance.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience with portable appliance testing using fully downloadable PAT instruments.
- Possession of City & Guilds 2377 22/23 Testing and Inspection certification.
- Must hold a full, clean driving license to facilitate travel between sites.
- DBS clearance is mandatory.
- ECS/CSC card is advantageous but not essential.
