Job description
Role Overview
As a Partner Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will establish and nurture in-depth technical collaborations with partners of varying scales. Serving as a trusted advisor, you will ensure an exceptional partner experience with AWS, ultimately benefiting our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the comprehensive technical partnership between AWS and its partners, guiding them in areas such as security, cost optimization, performance enhancement, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate critical customer projects.
- Represent partner perspectives internally to influence AWS feature development and enhancements to partner programs.
- Innovatively connect technology with practical solutions that align with our shared mission of enhancing citizen engagement across government, education, and health sectors.
- Create and disseminate best practices, technical documentation, and new reference architectures including white papers, sample code, blogs, and more.
- Promote and educate partners on AWS technologies via workshops, user groups, conferences, online content, and public speaking engagements.
- Engage in continuous learning of emerging technologies to effectively advise partners and support sales objectives.

They consistently develop innovative, cost-effective, secure, and efficient cloud computing solutions, addressing both strategic mission goals and technical challenges by aligning carefully with partner requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in relevant technology fields, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data analytics.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructure projects.
- Proven skills in delivering presentations and engaging with executive leadership, IT professionals, management, and developer teams.
- Familiarity with AWS services, target market segments, diverse customer bases, and key industry verticals.
- Understanding of cloud architectural principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with software development tools and methodologies.
- Track record of migrating legacy systems or transforming customer solutions onto cloud environments.
- Expertise in leading or contributing to enterprise-scale software products developed through structured system development life cycles.
