Delivery Practice Manager, ASEAN Professional Services

Overview

The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team invites an accomplished Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to lead the Associate to Consultant (A2C) delivery unit focused on early-career talent development. This role entails managing teams of ProServe Delivery Consultants engaged in transformative projects for enterprise clients, leveraging expertise in IT and management consulting as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and build a robust team of Delivery Consultants and Engagement Managers, designing innovative AWS-based solutions.
• Engage directly with directors and executives to capture opportunities and ensure successful delivery of engagements on schedule and budget.
• Collaborate with partner teams to drive business development and maintain superior customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute strategies enhancing hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development for early-career consultants.
• Manage practice P&L and drive optimal team utilization and performance.

Team Focus

You will oversee a group of 10 to 20 Associate Consultants specializing in various technical domains (Infrastructure, Application Development, DevOps, Data, Security), nurturing their development from early career stages to customer-facing technical consultants.

Working Conditions

This position requires presence onsite, either at AWS offices or client locations, for at least five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• A minimum of 8 years' experience in IT or management consulting, including at least 3 years in leadership roles.
• Proven track record managing IT transformation projects and leading consultant recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring.
• Proficiency in English communication.

Preferred

• Experience engaging C-suite clients and designing scalable technology consulting delivery models.
• Advanced technical qualifications or AWS Professional certifications.
• Strong project and resource management skills alongside financial and P&L management acumen.
• Capability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and drive organizational change.
• Sales and negotiation expertise for opportunity identification and proposal formulation.
