Role Overview

Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is looking for a skilled Painter who is attentive to detail to maintain and elevate the visual appeal of the facilities through expert painting services. The ideal candidate combines technical skills, creativity, and a dedication to delivering excellent workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out painting assignments across various areas such as public zones, guest rooms, and external building surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces prior to painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Accurately mix paint colors to achieve desired shades and ensure consistency throughout projects.
• Apply paint carefully using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, maintaining efficiency and precision.
• Perform touch-ups and fix damaged painted areas to uphold aesthetic standards.
• Keep the workspace tidy and organized, ensuring maintenance and proper care of painting tools and materials.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to schedule painting tasks minimizing operational interruptions.
• Follow safety guidelines and handle paint products and tools correctly to ensure a safe working environment.
• Respond quickly to painting requests and resolve related issues promptly.
• Introduce new painting techniques and solutions to enhance quality and productivity continuously.
• Participate in regular inspections to identify and address areas needing repainting or touch-ups.
• Assist with managing inventory of paint and related supplies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 2 years’ professional experience as a painter, ideally within hospitality or commercial settings.
• Skilled in a variety of painting techniques, including surface preparation, color mixing, and application methods.
• Comprehensive knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and when to use them.
• Experience applying timber treatments and specialty coatings.
• Exceptional attention to detail ensuring high-quality and uniform finished work.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift, carry, kneel, and climb ladders for long durations.
• Able to function effectively both independently and within team environments under fast-paced conditions.
• Basic awareness of safety standards and correct handling of painting materials.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Proficient in English, with Arabic or additional languages considered a benefit.
• Previous experience in hospitality environments considered an advantage.
