Overview

This role functions as an internal consultant and Human Resources program manager, delivering organizational development and HR support to Business Units and corporate functions. The manager is responsible for planning, creating, deploying, and overseeing HR initiatives and multiple projects aimed at helping business units achieve strategic objectives and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the rollout of organizational development plans ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Develop the Organizational Development department's work plan and delegate tasks within the team.
  • Recommend initiatives and strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the Organizational Development department.
  • Ensure subordinates apply instructions, decisions, and administrative policies accurately.
  • Monitor the execution of activities to meet preset performance targets and suggest improvements to Human Resources management.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop and adjust organizational structures in response to evolving market conditions.
  • Oversee continuous performance management system implementation to evaluate reviews and recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Manage communication of HR policies and procedures across the workforce and address related employee inquiries via subordinates.
  • Lead the implementation of HR and organizational development programs through training and communication with relevant managers and staff.
  • Conduct research on current performance management trends and propose modifications to the system.
  • Analyze employee concerns such as retention, career planning, and succession, proposing relevant policies to enhance HR practices.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to improve staff performance effectively.
  • Monitor HR metrics like turnover rates, training costs, and promotion cycles, recommending actions to improve company practices.
  • Perform market analysis for compensation and benefits and manage salary grading and scales, suggesting improvements as needed.
  • Manage company-wide policies including HR manuals, sales incentive frameworks, bonus, and merit increase policies.
  • Initiate programs to boost employee performance, reduce turnover, and increase satisfaction across business units.
  • Conduct regular meetings with team members to ensure smooth operations and stay informed on current best practices.
  • Prepare and submit reports on Organizational Development department activities and achievements to management.
  • Identify HR needs for the Organizational Development department following staffing plans.
  • Oversee administrative matters for subordinates such as leave and vacations.
  • Perform performance appraisals for subordinates and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Designate deputies to fulfill leadership responsibilities as needed.
  • Carry out additional tasks assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management, or related disciplines; a master's degree is preferred.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, or talent management roles.

Professional Expertise

  • Background in management consulting or HR management practices.
  • Experience with Oracle HRMS is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with HR metrics and analytics.
  • Knowledgeable about Saudi Arabian labor law.
